Temple student dies in AC car crash

A 25-year-old Temple student died in a car accident yesterday, Sept 2 in Atlantic City, the Press of Atlantic City website reported.

Issac Baggs, a senior journalism student, was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus in Atlantic City, shortly after he was involved in a single-car crash on Route 30 around 3:30 p.m., the website reported.

He was pronounced dead at 4:18 p.m.

Man drives into church

A white Lincoln towncar driven by a man who witnesses say allegedly suffered a gunshot wound, crashed into a fence outside of the Mount Olive Holy Temple on Broad and Jefferson Streets in North Philadelphia around 7:30 on Sunday night, according to Fred Tooks, whose father is a pastor at the Original Apostolic Faith Church  across the street.
