The Diamond Gems simply looked different at Saturday’s men’s basketball game versus Charlotte. The Owls scored a victory. The gems scored an additional dancer.

Many fans weren’t sure if that person on the court was part of the Gems’ act or not. During a time-out dance, an enthusiastic (and perhaps intoxicated?) patron ran on the court and danced. The moves weren’t bad, which made spectators question the dancer’s authenticity. He kept pace with the Gems, swerving in and out of them. At one point, he actually had the opportunity to crawl through the legs of one lucky Gem.

Enter Temple’s finest. With little to no resistance, the newest Diamond Gem became a Diamond in the Rough with Temple’s Police.
