Temple fans at the St. Joe’s game tonight (in which the Owls won in their final home game of the season, 68-59) got a special treat from Verizon — a cardstock sign to wave at the opposition.

However, the folks at Verizon made a slight mistake that may offend Owls fans… The note at the bottom of the sign reads:

Place your hand in the pocket, hold your sign up high, and CHEER THE HAWKS ON!

Regardless, it was a nice gesture by Verizon, no?
