The football team’s annual Cherry and White game at the Edburg-Olson practice facility has been moved to 10 am this Saturday from its original time of 2:30 pm due to concerns of severe weather, the athletic department announced in a statement today.

“We feel the time change was necessary to secure the safety of all involved– our alumni, fans, and student-athletes,” athletic director Bill Bradshaw said in a statement. “With the threat of inclement weather, safety is always our first concern. This change would also make it convenient for fans and students to attend the scrimmage.”

The change also means the alumni basketball game will start at 1 pm.
