Unless you’ve been living under a rock or in an alternate universe you know the economy is bad but in case you had any positive thoughts about life after college the Associated Press is crushing your hopes and dreams.
In a recent article titled, “College grads face worst job market in years” the AP rains on the parade of awaiting grads and describes that their plan “A” for life after school has not only disappeared but so has plan “B” and “C”. If you’re lucky you’re 5th back up plan might grab you a job far away from home that might pay the bills and all of your students loans.
The sectors that are still hiring are healthcare and smaller finance firms. The firms that didn’t get burned as badly in the economy are now able to recruit at top business schools while their bigger competitors are scrambling.
How’s the job search going out there, are there entry-level jobs for new grads?
