Drexel President Constantine Papadakis is taking six months off from his presidential duties.
Papadakis, who has been battling lung cancer, cited health reasons as the reason for his leave. Drexel’s board of trustees met this morning to discuss who would be in charge during Papadakis’ time away. Philly.com is reporting Chuck Pennoni, a former chairman and member of the board will serve as interim president.
