15 of the more than 30 deaths related to this weeks heatwave were Philadelphians. The brutal weather on the East Coast saw the temperatures soar into the 90’s.

According to USA Today there were seven heat-related deaths on Wednesday and eight other heat-related deaths during the scorching week. Many of the victims were elderly.
