Hate crime victim sues Temple

23-year-old Jordan Blady is not only suing Temple over the physical assault and alleged anti-Semitic slurs he endured Feb. 15, he is also suing the four charged in the crime.

Blady and a friend were standing in front of the Jewish affiliated fraternity, Alpha Epsilon Pi, when four Temple students proceeded to attack him. David Scott, Stephen Scott, Michael Walsh  and Bryan Pediero were arrested and charged with simple assault and ethnic intimidation.

The Jewish Exponent is reporting, Blady is seeking thousands of dollars from Temple and the four charged for compensatory and punitive damages.

Ray Betzner, director of news communications, said in a statement released by Temple, the school will defend itself vigorously.
