Last week, Metropolis columnist Ryan Briggs raised a glass to Philadelphia Brewing Co., the new venture by former Yards partners Bill and Nancy Barton.

Tonight, just in time for Philly Beer Week, the Bartons tap the first kegs at the Green Rock Tavern, 2546 E. Lehigh St. in Port Richmond. Drafts are just $1 from 7-8 p.m.
