The visiting Owls defeated Richmond, 47-40, Wednesday night behind a furious 25-4 run to end the game.

Senior guard Ashley Morris notched 17 of her team-high 22 points during the Owls (10-10, 3-1 A-10) massive late-game comeback to help down the Spiders (9-10, 2-2).

The Owls trailed, 36-22, with 13:20 remaining in the second half.

It wasn’t a pretty one, for sure. The Owls shot 27 percent from the field, while the Spiders weren’t much better, shooting 35 percent for the game.

For their next game, the Owls will hit the road for a meeting with Rhode Island (9-10, 2-2) Sunday at noon.
