Hillary Clinton made a stop in Philadelphia this afternoon on her way to an event in New Jersey. The senator and presidential candidate picked up a key endorsement from Governor Rendell. The governor said he likes Clinton’s healthcare plans. New Mayor, Michael Nutter also attended the city hall event. He had endorsed Clinton earlier.
A small crowd waited outside of city hall to catch a glimpse of the senator. Many were holding homemade signs supporting Clinton. Some had been waiting as long as two hours in the freezing cold. There were also many Barack Obama supporters in attendance. Philadelphians will get their shot to vote when Pennsylvania’s primary rolls around on April 22.
New Jersey will be holding it’s primary on February 5th, According to the latest Quinnipiac University poll, Sen. Clinton leads in New Jersey among likely male and female voters.
