No. 9 Duke University handled Temple’s men’s basketball team as expected, 74-64 at the Wachovia Center, as reported by The Temple News.

Dionte Christmas scored a game-high 23 points and Mark Tyndale put in 20, but it wasn’t enough for a balanced attack from the Blue Devils.

Still, some felt goals were met, like an improvement in rebounding, as TTN reporter John Kopp reported last night.

Duke has won eight consecutive decisions against Temple, and now lead the all-time series 17-9. What’s more, Duke has piled it on the Atlantic-10, with 11 straight victories, dating back a 59-58 loss to Temple on Jan. 25, 1996.

Tonight’s game was nationally televised on ESPN.
