Yorktown meeting held, next meeting on May 20

Yorktown held its April 1 meeting, and as some suspected, no resolution was reached.

Alexis Denny, the daughter of Yorktown developer Norman Denny, testified for the residents, saying the historic nature of the neighborhood should be preserved.

Another meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 20 at 12:30.

Reminder: Don’t forget Yorktown meeting on April 1st!

This is a friendly reminder from your TTN staff. There is a meeting concerning Yorktown on April 1st. The meeting is at 1515 Arch St. and will be held at noon in room 18002.

Be there to see how the future of North Philadelphia’s most fought-over neighborhood will turn out.

P.S. In case you still wanted to go to the Lady Gaga concert on the same day, it’s been sold out for weeks. Sorry.

Yorktown meeting to be held at noon April 1

The Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold its second meeting concerning Temple students living in Yorktown on April 1. The meeting is at 1515 Arch St. and will be held at noon in room 18002.

If you don’t live in Yorktown, and don’t care about anybody who does, go see Lady Gaga at the Electric Factory the same day at 8 p.m.

Or, go to both, and get your civic involvement and your “just dance” on. All in one day.
