Pick up the phone, it’s Temple

Tonight at 5 Temple will be testing the emergency notification system, TU-Alert.

For the second time, phone calls, e-mails and texts will go out to all who have registered for the alerts. The first test was conducted in February and considered a great success.

Timothy O’Rourke, vice president of computer and information services said the test is being conducted in the evening so students and professors wouldn’t be disturbed during finals.

To sign up for emergency alerts, students should go to http://owlnet.temple.edu log in and click on the update adress tab and fill out the emergency notification information.

O’Rourke encourages all students, staff and faculty to sign up.
